Contact Us — Corrections, Feedback & Questions

We read every message. This page tells you the fastest way to reach the right place — whether that is us, PTA, your operator or the NCCIA — because for many SIM problems the honest answer is that an official helpline will solve it faster than any website can.

  • Corrections: include the page link and the correct information, ideally with an official source (a PTA page, an operator notice, a dated news report). Verified corrections are applied to the page itself with a fresh review date. These get priority.
  • Feedback and questions about a guide: tell us which step confused you or did not match what you saw on your phone — including your operator, since replies differ slightly by network.
  • Press and research queries: mention your outlet or institution and deadline.

We aim to reply within 2–3 working days. Urdu, Roman-Urdu and English are all welcome.

What we cannot help with

Please do not send us CNIC numbers, phone numbers or screenshots containing them — we will delete such messages unanswered. Specifically:

  • We cannot check any SIM record for you. We have no access to PTA’s SVMS registry — nobody outside the official system does. Run the check yourself in 30 seconds: SMS your own 13-digit CNIC (no dashes) to 668 (~Rs 2 with tax) or open the free official portal cnic.sims.pk.
  • We cannot identify a stranger from a phone number, and neither can any legal service in Pakistan. Unauthorised access to identity information is an offence under PECA 2016 Section 16. If a number is harassing you, report it — the helplines below exist for exactly that.
  • We cannot unblock SIMs, reverse ownership or expedite complaints — only PTA and your operator can.

Official helplines (save these)

  • PTA complaints: complaint.pta.gov.pk or call 0800-55055 — unknown SIMs on your CNIC, operator disputes, blocking issues.
  • NCCIA cyber helpline: 1799 (24/7, launched June 2025) or complaint.nccia.gov.pk — fraud calls, harassment, fake “SIM data” services, blackmail.
  • Operator helplines: Jazz 111 · Zong 310 · Telenor 345 · Ufone 333 — blocking a SIM, franchise directions, disowning appointments.
  • NADRA: 1777 — CNIC-side issues (expired, lost or disputed identity documents).

Found an unknown SIM on your CNIC?

Do not wait for an email reply — act the same day: screenshot your 668 or cnic.sims.pk result with the date visible, call your operator to block the SIM, visit a franchise with your original CNIC for biometric “SIM disowning” (fee up to Rs 200, waived for fraud), then file at complaint.pta.gov.pk and re-check after 24–48 hours. The full walkthrough is on our home page’s action-plan section.

Roman-Urdu khulasa

Roman-Urdu: Hum se raabta email par karein: [email protected] — ghalti ki nishandahi, feedback ya sawal, teenon ke liye. Lekin apna ya kisi aur ka CNIC ya phone number hamein na bhejein — hum kisi ka SIM record check nahin kar sakte; yeh kaam sirf aap khud 668 SMS ya cnic.sims.pk se kar sakte hain. Ajnabi ka naam number se batana Pakistan me kisi ke liye bhi qanooni nahin (PECA 2016). SIM ke maslay ke liye asal madad in numbers se milegi: PTA 0800-55055, NCCIA 1799 (24 ghantay), Jazz 111, Zong 310, Telenor 345, Ufone 333, NADRA 1777.
